Jamie Madriaga joined PMK in October 2021. She is focused on litigation and brings with her nine years of experience practicing law. Ms. Madriaga is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association as well as the Hawaii Filipino Lawyers, for which she served on the Executive Planning Committee and served as a web designer for Pinay Powerhouse III, a Filipina lawyer empowerment conference.
A Honolulu resident, Ms. Madriaga has experience litigating matters in federal court. She participated in the 2020 Hawaii Federal Trial Academy and was selected as a Lawyer Delegate to the Hawai’i United States District Court Judicial Conference.
Following a litigation internship at The Milton A. Kramer Law Clinic in Cleveland, OH, Ms. Madriaga served as a law clerk in Honolulu for Honorable Karl K. Sakamoto. From there, she held roles as a senior associate and partner at Honolulu law firms, focusing on civil litigation. Along with her extensive experience, Ms. Madriaga brings to PMK strong writing skills, exceptional analytical ability, and outstanding interpersonal skills, all of which inform her tailored approach that allows her to meet and exceed clients’ expectations.
Raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Ms. Madriaga received a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies from the University of Virginia in 2005 and her law degree from Case Western Reserve University in 2012 where she graduated Cum Laude and received the School of Law Leadership Award and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Award for work in diversity and inclusion.
