Brendan Ogata joined PMKC in March 2019 as an associate attorney practicing in the areas of community association, construction and commercial litigation. He is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association as well as the Business Law and Real Property & Financial Services sections of the HSBA.

Ogata earned his J.D. from the William S. Richardson School of Law from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and his MBA from the Shidler School of Business.  While in law school he served on the Intellectual Property Moot Court team and with Business Law Corps, a legal nonprofit organization that provides new small business owners and entrepreneurs of limited means with access to the legal system.  Prior to joining PMKC, he interned with Lyle S. Hosoda & Associates and Hawaiian Electric Company and served as a BSA Analyst II with Central Pacific Bank.

Ogata was born and raised on Oahu and earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Southern California.

Ogata is an attorney with PMKC’s litigation section, which serves clients on Oahu and the neighbor islands.
