Andrew Barna joined PMK in September 2023 as an associate practicing in the areas of land use, construction litigation, and community association law. He is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association, the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawaii Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association.
Andrew earned his J.D. from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in New York where he graduated Cum Laude. While there, he participated in several land and environmental-related cases.
Andrew earned a bachelor’s degree in urban and regional development from the University of Arizona. It was there that his interest in land use and the environment motivated him to seek a career in law.
Before joining PMK, Andrew practiced at a civil litigation firm on Maui where he handled all aspects of the litigation process, including alternative dispute resolution, appeals, and trial preparation. As an attorney with PMK’s litigation section, he serves clients on Oahu and neighboring islands.
